Additional information

Hinged oval-shaped gold snuffbox studded with pastilles and edged with a braided cord. The base and lid have oval lines framing a central floral motif. The side of the box features the same motifs and is bordered by two braided cords. The box is engraved on the inside with the words "Don de l'empereur Alexandre premier". Belonged to Count Johan Frédérik Aminoff and later to the Swedish Chamberlain Carl Léomard Reuterskiold. 
Master goldsmith PIZ for Pierre Innocent Zurich received in 1780.
