Oval snuff box in three tones of gold. The hinged lid is decorated with an intricate “barley grain” pattern and ringed with a frieze of roses and leaves in pink, green, and white gold. The body of the box also features panels of the barley grain pattern, which are interspaced with four different motifs: a dove near gardening tools, a nesting dove, a flowering vase, and musical instruments.
