Pair of pot-pourri vases covered with a pierced, multicolored, porcelain lid. They are richly decorated with flowering scrollwork and birds set over a black background highlighted with gold accents. The covers are painted with foliage and topped with a gilt bronze basket of fruits and flowers. The intricately sculpted base and rim are embellished with gilt bronze laurel wreaths and small flowers. The handles of each vase are in the shape of bearded men.
