Lapis lazuli flask with silver-gilt mounting. The body of the stone flask is a tapered octagon. The openwork mounting is intricately sculpted with rinceaux motifs. The base of the flask can be used as a seal. The silver stopper is connected with a delicate chain to the neck of the flask.
