Set 6 salters and a pot (mustard). The salters in the shape of a bucket vase and the pot are in blown crystal and painted landscapes in grisaille representing shores with sometimes characters. The salters are decorated with gold net. This set is kept in their original box in blue velvet and marked "Au Vase Etruscan, L. Damon, 20 Boulevard Malesherbes, branch in Vichy". Around 1890. Louis Damon (1860-1947) became owner of the store "Au Vase Etrusque" at 20 rue Malesherbes in Paris in 1887 at the age of 27. Great creative he has a workshop of decoration and realizes himself his models to resell them. He diffuses the creations of the Daum brothers. He was rewarded in 1900 at the Universal Exposition of 1900 with a silver medal. The brothers Auguste and Antonin Daum founded the French Crystal Company in 1878 in Nancy, Lorraine. Around 1890 the family business perfected itself in the decor with acid and engraving on the wheel.
