A rectangular card case in the Louis XVI style, the hinged cover enamelled in translucent green over a guilloché surrounded with a line in red enamel. A gold floral frieze in "reserve" frames the enamel panel. The center of the lid is decorated with a rectangular panel enamelled in translucent white over a sunburst guilloché ground. The base is in amati gold. The interior is engraved with initials KB and a system allows to hold cards or a notebook. This case was worn hanging from the waist.
