Additional information

Candy box in green composite material (pillaged fish scales, binder and pigments) and gold frame.The inside of the box is fully lined with tortoiseshell.The removable cover presents a decoration of guilloché patterns in concentric circle. The surrounding is underlined by a gold frame finely chiseled with twisted patterns. The frame is guilloché with parallel striations and embellished with dots. The base uses the same ornamentation of concentric circles. 18th-century gold marks.
