A gold snuff-box, pocket-shaped with rounded corners, the cover and the base with panels of ovolos and diamond-shaped pellets within wawy, reeded engine-turning, the four rounded sablé sides stamp with scrolling foliage within polish gold borders.
Weight: 1.55oz (44 gr).
Marks of gold:
Title Mark: Wolf’s Head (1819-1838)
Guarantee mark: Head of an old man (1819-1838)
Guarantee mark for Paris: bull (1819-1838)
Goldsmith: Simon Achille Léger insculpté in 1815 and biffé in 1826.
