Early 19th century gilded and patinated inkwell.

Rounded inkwell in gilded and patinated bronze. The removable cover represents a sunflower flower with a butterfly in the centre used as a grip. Inside, the inkwell has ink and sand cups and a pocket. The whole is finely chiselled. The base is adorned with patinated bronze fluting.
First half of the 19th century. Restauration.
