Square box in blue enamel with gilt bronze mounts. The five sides are composed of convex plates that are decorated with intricate golden arabesques. Each enamelled panel is decorated with patterns of white flower bouquets and small insects. The light blue enamel is decorated with matt gold arabesque motifs applied to the enamel and enhanced with a frieze of black enamel and red enamel drops. The gilt bronze frame with beaded border frames these enamel plates probably Bressans. The box rests on four feet. Interior restored in velvet.
