Additional information

Octagonal hinged box in gold. The base and lid are bordered by a frieze of rinceaux framing a central motif of the same shape and consisting of lines radiating from a rounded central motif. The sides are made up of eight panels striated with parallel lines and framed at the corners with geometric motifs and garlands at the top.
Welding rework of the lid. 
Master goldsmith: DG separated by an arrow and two trefoils.
Marked: rooster looking left, open beak: 1809-1819.
Two eagle heads, check 18 ct.
