Silver chatelaine inlaid with pearls and gemstones. The belt hook is decorated with a floral motif that is connected to two descending chains. These chains are decorated with silver, floral motifs interspaced with gemstones and pearls. A white-veined agate perfume flask hangs from these two chains. The flask is attached to a silver setting that continues with the same decorative motifs. A hinged silver stopper serves to seal the flask. This type of chatelaine flask was worn at a woman’s waist.
