The galleries of the Palais Royal housed luxury boutiques, offering items such as haute couture clothing, refined accessories and exquisite objets d'art. These establishments were frequented by the high society of the day, attracted by the sophisticated ambience and exclusive products.
Some shops specialized in fashion, offering unique creations designed by the best Parisian couturiers. Others offered luxury items such as jewelry, perfumes and decorative objects.
