A silver jardiniere composed of a crystal bowl mounted in silver, resting on four feet decorated with foliage. The oval bowl is carved to form fans alternating with star-shaped motifs. The silver mounting is decorated with a frieze of foliage on a matte background and medallions in the centre, with large handles decorated with lion muffles and garlands. Some chips to the crystal.
19th century German work. Circa 1880.
