Additional information

Round box decorated with fine interlacing motifs in pink gold on a cream-coloured composition background (crushed fish scales, binder and pigments). Set with a frieze of plaits in yellow and green gold 750. Brown tortoiseshell lining. 

Composite material, as its name suggests is made up of crushed fish scales to which is added a binder and a pigment of one's choice, thus forming a composite material.
