Exceptional cylindrical case for wax in yellow, green, and pink gold. The fluted case is decorated with four oval medallions that are topped with curling ribbons and underscored with laurel branches. The medallions on the lower portion portray musical instruments: on one side, a musette, and on the other, a guitar near a basket of flowers. The medallions on the upper part of the case portray a quiver on one side and a ewer on the other. The end of the case is decorated with a frieze of green-gold laurels on a gold matte background. The upper part of the case finishes with a dome ornamented with acanthus leaves on a matte gold background. The seal features a crest topped with a crown. Work from the Louis XV period.
