Additional information

A pair of Charles X ring holders or "baguiers" with ormolu mounts hatched with small flowers. Mother-of-pearl vertical elements, cups decorated with openwork interlacings and mother-of-pearl gadroons hemmed by gilt bronze friezes chiselled with small flowers and openwork festoons. Each baguier contains six hooks for jewels. Dark red velvet interior. Circa: 1810
