Additional information

Four small pieces fixed under glass depicting landscapes and characters. Mountains appear in the background of our four miniatures, along with the sea, a few sailboats and houses.
Painting under glass is also known as eludoric painting, a technique invented in the mid-18th century by Arnaud-Vincent de Monpetit. These are small paintings on very fine canvas, glued and fixed under protective glass.
